Information Collection and Use
Campaign Karma collects different kinds of information from or about you. Dependent upon things you do and information you provide Campaign Karma collects the content and other information you provide when you use our products, services, and/or websites. This includes, but is not limited to when you sign up for an account, join campaigns, align with other users, create and/or share information and content, perform actions, and communicate with others. This can include information in or about the content you provide, such as the location of a photo or the date a file was created. We also collect information about how you use Campaign Karma such as the types of content you view or engage with or the frequency and duration of your activities. Campaign Karma also collects content and information that other people provide when they use Campaign Karma including information about you, such as when they share a photo of you, send a message to you, or upload, sync or import your contact information. Individual Campaigns have their own Privacy Policies. Campaign Karma recommends this guiding principle: Do not share anything with a campaign you would not want to become public record.
When you create or reconfigure a Campaign Karma user account, you provide information such as your name, a unique username, password, and email address. Campaign Karma asks for your age to confirm that you are eligible to use Campaign Karma. Campaign Karma uses your email address to verify your account and to communicate with you. Your name and/or username are listed on some Campaign Karma services, including but not limited to your profile page and in certain search results. Campaign Karma uses commercially reasonable measures to protect information and take reasonable steps to verify your identity before allowing access to your account. Your Campaign Karma account information is protected by a password for your privacy and security, however you are responsible for preventing unauthorized access to your account and information by creating, protecting maintaining the secrecy of your unique Campaign Karma password. Although Campaign Karma seeks to protect your information we cannot guarantee the security of any information as unauthorized infiltration, entry, use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of information. If you email Campaign Karma, we may keep your message, email address and contact information to respond to your request. If you connect your Campaign Karma account to your account on another service in order to cross-post between Campaign Karma and that service, the other service may send us your registration or profile information on that service and other information that you authorize. When you access your Campaign Karma account we will ask you for information such as your username and password. Campaign Karma may use your account information, alone or together with other information, to enhance and improve our products and services. There is some information we collect automatically when you access Campaign Karma which we use to facilitate the broad range of communications we offer.
When you use Campaign Karma we collect log file information when you use our websites. Log file information is automatically reported by your browser each time you visit a web page or app. It can also be provided when the content of the webpage or app is downloaded to your browser and/or device. That information includes, but is not limited to your web browser type and language, access times, pages viewed, your IP address, and the website you visited before navigating to our websites, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location, your mobile carrier, device information, including but not limited to device and application identifiers, search terms, and cookie information. Campaign Kama may also collect similar information from emails sent to our users which then help us track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. We may also receive log data when you click on, view or interact with a link on Campaign Karma to a third-party application. Your information may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country.
Campaign Karma may send you administrative communications relating to your Campaign Karma account including but not limited to the purposes of account recovery and password reset which you may not be able to opt-out from receiving. Campaign Karma will never contact you requesting your password or other account information. If this occurs please contact us immediately.
